Rainy Day Parade

Stephen Simon
A lonely teddy bear dancing on a swing
up down spin around he begins to sing
with the gentle splash of water in a stream

clouds roll in bringing darkness to the sky
a gentle rain begins to fall as it begins to cry
the now soggy earth gurgles in reply

off his swing now the teddy stands
he begins to march in a one man line
exhausted the weather has his intentions

soon soggy teddy bears follow his lead
jumping off there swings as he
there leader become has he

march the teddies do
there numbers begin to grow
tire not will they as they march
