Rainy Days
I don't remember the last
a day to contemplate and
sleep late and perhaps
get things done
Rainy days are not the best
but sometimes I just need
to sort through stuff and clean
without the sun calling
and pushing me outside
Rainy days are good for
some things you wouldn't otherwise
do like go to a movie
in the afternoon instead
of doing that at night
A rainy day can be welcome
if the temperatures have been
soaring high above normal
and something is needed to
tone down the heat
Rainy days and I don't
usually get along but
I would be happy right now
just so I can sit and listen
to the rain drops coming down

Rain is a bad word here right now.. LOL! Could have given you all the rainy days you needed just last week and were do for some more, which we don't need, starting tomorrow..

We are having rains here, I wish you were here as well. We would have bought a ferry and go on a ride on the highway.....
