When we eat low vibration foods, such as meat, saturated fat, processed foods and chemicals, it lowers our energetic vibration. This isn't an advocacy for vegetarianism, which is a personal choice. However, nutritionists will tell you a healthier lifestyle includes a diet rich in fresh vegetables and fruits.
Sounds can increase or decrease the level of your vibration, as well. Consider how it felt, as a small child, hearing parents or other adults arguing. How does it make you feel when hearing sounds of violence or a screaming on the television? How does it feel when a type of music you don't like is playing on the radio? You probably have found that you get an ill at ease feeling from them. What you didn't know is that they were lowering your vibration level. Now, consider how it feels when a favorite song comes on the radio. Or, how it feels after watching a comedy movie that has you filled with laughter.
Other things that can alter your vibration negatively are cigarette smoking, sitting in backed up traffic and breathing fuel fumes or taking in smoggy city air each day. What do you think are the results of working at a job that you hate, rather that one that you can't wait to get to each day? Stress lowers your vibration.
There are many ways of raising your vibration. But, how do you know when you have done so. Simply analyze how you feel. If your disposition is content, happy and your energy level is up, you are in a raised vibration condition. If you are angry, sad, frustrated and your body is tired and achy, you have low energy vibration. Simply stated, try to do as many things that make you feel physically good and happy. It is true, this may not be as simply done as it sounds when your mood is low.
The first step is to take yourself away from the negative situation, even if for a short time. Give yourself permission. Watch a funny movie that makes you laugh and put your problems to the background for a time. Turn on music that you like and make your body move with joyful dance. If this is not possible, form your face into a smile. It's hard to stay discouraged when you are smiling. Try it. A warm bath or shower will start raising your vibration. If nothing else works, take a nap. Sleep will raise your vibration. These sound like simple measures, but they are excellent starting points. When raising your vibration, even a little bit, it opens the way to come up with solutions to situations or problems.
Alter your life in small ways and reap the rewards in the difference of how you feel. A higher vibration improves everything about your life, not just your health. Try making a list of all the things you experience, on a regular basis, that you believe might lower your vibration. Across from the list, write down how you can alter the activity to a higher vibration experience. Make a separate goal list for longer term changes, such as your living situation or job. Start by writing down the end result and then list the small steps needed to get there. Work on each step until it is accomplished. Changing the low energy vibration activities in your life will be less difficult now that you are aware of them. Make your plan, as even setting goals is a way of raising your vibration.
An attitude of gratitude is another way of raising your vibration. While you're working on your list, find time to be grateful for the things in your life and then shoe it by thanking people, pets, plants, event the universe. The feeling you get when you do good deeds, tell you that you are raising your vibration.
Try some of these higher vibration actions.
*Exercise (play a sport, dance, walk, run or just move)
*Enjoy the outdoors and nature
*Drink an extra glass of clean water
*Eat a piece of your favorite fresh
*Play with your dog or cat (pet)
*Organize your home or work desk
*Meditate
*Take a short nap
*Change internal dialog to positive phrases
*Compliment a stranger
*Compliment yourself
*Laugh
*mile
*Learn something new (take a class)
Raising the frequency of your vibration does not only affect your health, but all aspects of your life. Your best intentions will be manifested with ease, as you allow yourself to. stay in peace and joy. Some additional ways of raising your vibration are through affirmations and visualizations, meditation, journaling, reiki (and other forms of energy healing), chakra clearing and balancing, gemstone therapy and flower essence therapy.
