Ramen noodles are an inexpensive food that can be used for any meal; breakfast, lunch or dinner. Because of their low price they fit into any grocery budget, they come in a variety of flavors and there a versatile, too. You can pair ramen noodles with any number of side dishes with great success. If you are tired of eating ramen noodles the old fashioned way however, this article is for you. Here we will offer some tips on how you can spruce up that ordinary bowl of ramen noodles into something fun, different and great tasting, as well.

Raw

Many people don't realize this, but raw ramen noodles, straight out of the package make for an excellent snack. You can sprinkle the included seasoning on top, or leave it off - you can also get creative and some other toppings, as well. Peanut butter, jelly, and cream cheese all make great toppings for raw ramen noodles - see what you can come up with!

Garlic Salt

Different types of spices and seasonings, particular garlic salt, make great add-ons to your ramen noodles. It doesn't matter if you're eating them raw, cooked with the water or without, a pinch of garlic salt is wonderful for that little extra kick.

Hot Sauce

For those who like their foods spicy, this is the tip for you. A little bit of (insert your favorite brand here) hot sauce can really lively up an ordinary bowl of ramen noodles in a hurry. You can even throw in a couple of hot peppers if you're the type who likes to sweat when eating.

Chili

Another idea for those who like a little bit of spice, chili makes a great addition to ramen noodles - and you can even make a full meal out of this one. Just cook the ramen noodles as directed, drain the water, and then mix it in with your favorite type of chili (that's already been heated up) and you'll have a meal that can easily feed a family of four on a tight budget.

Spaghetti Sauce

Ramen noodles taste excellent cooked in spaghetti sauce, too. Again, you cook the ramen noodles as you normally would, and then drain the water. Add in your can of spaghetti sauce, heat it up, mix the noodles and the sauce and serve. This is a quick and easy way to add some variety to your ramen noodle dish - and the entire family is sure to love it.
