Randy Moss and Favre didn't really click and Moss apparently struggled to learn the West Coat Offense ran by the Vikings. Moss has been acting erratically this season including interviewing himself after the loss to the Patriots. Moss blasted the Vikings coaches and players then heaped praise on his old team the New England Patriots.
With Randy Moss now being a free agent he will find work for the rest of the 2010 NFL season, but it will pay him less than he would like. Moss will have to shut his mouth and play well on whatever team picks him up. Minnesota lost that third round draft pick they traded for Randy Moss but with their playoff hopes pretty much over, they must feel it's worth that to get rid of him.
Teams that could be interested in Randy Moss may include the Chiefs, Bears, Browns, Falcons and the Rams. The Chiefs run the old Patriots offense, need wide receiver help and are playoff contenders. However I am not sure they would put up with Randy Moss after the Vikings waived him. All the other teams need wide receivers and the Bears could make use of Moss in that wide open, deep drop offense.
It is a shame to see Randy Moss melt down at the end of his career because he was a truly special player for several years. But Moss was also the ultimate pouty ass diva wide receiver and it caught up with him with the Vikings and Patriots this year.
If I had to bet on where Moss ends up it would be with the Bears who are desperate to win. Chicago also hasn't shied away from spending money this year and Moss will be dirt cheap now. Of course he could sit the rest of the year out if he gets blackballed or has a wild hair and retires.
I didn't expect a mid season trade of Randy Moss but I sure as heck didn't expect the Minnesota Vikings to waive Moss. So the rest of his career should be interesting if nothing else. Moss hasn't been released as of Monday but apparently it is in the works. Several internet sources are reporting the release of Randy Moss.

If he doesn't leave, this would probably impact how the team performs.
