Randy and Paula White Divorce: A Scandal in the Making
Another Christian Ministry in Trouble: Randy and Paula White
Both Randy and Paula White have been linked to other people (Paula White has been linked to Rick Hawkins and Randy White has been linked to his ex-porn star female personal trainer, which of course is an innocent relationship). I understand that both Randy and Paula White are high profile superstar ministers, but for the sake of the believers who trusted their leadership, it would have been best if neither had been linked to anyone.
If Paula White was divorcing Randy White for biblical grounds of adultery, why not say it? Also, if Randy White was claiming that he was walking away from faith in Christ and wanted his freedom, then he should admit it. I understand that Randy White is going through a very hard time with his daughter, so that is why I don't understand why this announcement was made in the first place. Why announce an "impending" divorce, before filing legal paperwork, at a time of personal crisis, and without giving Biblical grounds for the divorce? None of this makes any sense, not to me, and not to the countless Christians who thought that Randy White and Paula White were 100% sold out to Christ.
The only reasons I can come up with why both Randy and Paula White would announce their impending divorce without defining Biblical Grounds, is for one of two reasons.
1. There aren't any and they don't care.
2. There are but both are guilty and neither wants to come clean.
Either way, one thing is certain, neither Randy White nor Paula White has good PR people! Even the politicians who are caught in sex scandals have a better repertoire with the public then this! Why leave the body of Christ just hanging in the balance without one iota of care or respect for how this will affect believer?
What really shocks me and saddens my heart, is the thought that maybe they really have gone so far off the deep end, that they don't care if they have Biblical grounds or not.
Could Randy White and Paula White have strayed so far from the narrow road of salvation that they just don't care?
Another thing that is very troubling is the fact that Rick Hawkins, who Paula White has now joined ministries with was under Carlton Pearson.
YIKES!!!
I just hear that name and I want to run!
Not many people who have a public platform stray so far from the Gospel of Jesus Christ as Carlton Pearson has-
I wonder how far the apple fell from the tree?
The body of Christ deserves more of an explanation than this-
Randy White and Paula White, you are doing a terrible job, with your ministry, your leadership, and obviously your public relations.
My advice is simple.
Randy, give up the ex-porn stars.
Paula, give up Rick Hawkins.
Work on your marriage- since obviously you have no biblical grounds for divorce and just feel that it's time to go your separate ways.
Unless one or both of you are not saved, you just can't do that and stay in Christian leadership.

I meant to say that the TBN pledge drives of 2003.
I realize that I am more than a year late to this thread, AND, I haven't paid any attention to Paula White since she was featured in EVERY TBN pledge drive during that year. But, one thing I have noticed during that time, was Paula's constant clinging to T.D. Jakes.
I felt that that was disrespectful to Randy, and it made it appear that Randy didn't exist. If I was a cynic, I suppose I could then claim that Randy is one of those types who "likes to watch," and who doesn't mind that his wife is out there, doing that, because they're too busy making a ton of money. I don't think that Randy felt that way at all and I certainly don't think that's the case. I think he really tried to make things work out but she was too preoccupied with the public ministry, etc. Paula simply wouldn't relinquish some of the responsibilities of the marriage, ministry, and business aspects of their lives.
She took it ALL upon herself and wouldn't let Randy have much of a say over many things - at least that's how it in-part appears to me - she subsequently suffered a stroke in the process.
In this article, two possibilities are pondered as being reasons for the divorce:
"1. There aren't any and they don't care."
"2. There are but both are guilty and neither wants to come clean."
Personally, I think a little bit of both could be involved, but it doesn't matter: what's done is done. As far as Randy is concerned: I think he tried to turn things around and even get through to Paula; she just didn't understand; she was too full of whatever was consuming her.
In the end, their marriage and divorce arestriclty their business and God's; it is no one elses. We need to not judge. Anyone in the same circumstances could end up with the same outcome.

It is so sad once her message had great power. I think Paula needs a break from the spot light. I do not feel the power like I use to in her message anymore. I am not judging. I feel it when I hear her speak -no interest in message/lack meat and favor. She has every right to a relationship and so does her exhusband. She should come out of spot like and serve God with out lime light
Why can't everyone mind their own bussiness. Years of doing good an no one cares,thats between them and God,not the public.
