Rap Songs You Should Buy

Walter Kovacs
There are a lot of rap songs that are amazing, but most people don't have because they've never heard of them. One of these is All I Know by Rahzel. This is a great song for many reasons. The first is the lyrics. They are fantastic. Rahzel is a lyricist like Immortal Technique. This song doesn't display as much anger as Immortal Technique songs do, but it is fantastic. Another reason this song is great is the beat. It's fast paced and kinda catchy. The last and most important reason you should own this song is because of the beatboxing. Rahzel is one of the best beatboxers in the world. Just listen to the first 30 seconds of the song. It sounds just like a DJ scratching a record, but it's all Rahzel.

Another song you should own is 'Til I Collapse by Eminem. Yes, I know Eminem is a very popular rapper, but this song was on one of his much older albums (The Eminem Show). This is definitely a song you need to buy. It is about how Eminem will hang on until he collapses. He'll keep rapping until no one wants to listen anymore. He is loyal to us listeners. He wants to please us, but he won't change himself to do it. When he can't be the Eminem that he is not, he won't be Eminem at all. He won't change to make us happy. Part of Eminem is anger. Many people protest Eminem for his wicked verses targeting children and political figures. He knows that, but he doesn't change, he just keep sending us the rhymes that he thinks of. He doesn't care if we like them...but we do.

The third song you have to buy is Change the Game by Jay-Z. Again, I know that Jay-Z is an extremely well know rapper, but this song is from one of his old albums (The Dynasty). This song doesn't mean much, but it has a sick beat and is fun to listen to. Also, the words talk about Jay-Z before he changed. Before Jay-Z became extremely famous, he was much more angry and spent much less of his time rapping about cars, whores, and big screen televisions. He was a better rapper then than he is now, and this song reminds us of this "Golden Age of Jay-Z." He is a fantastic rapper, or at least, he was.

In the end, these are my 3 favorite rap songs, and you should definitely look into purchasing them. They wouldn't cost very much, considering you can get songs for a dollar and twenty nine cents. Make sure to at least listen to these songs.

Note: These songs are explicit and not for young children.
