Controversial rapper Foxy Brown, 27 has landed in hot water once again. On Thursday night (February 15, 2007) the rapper (also known as Inga Marchand) was taken to jail in Broward County, Florida. She was charged with battery, and violently resisting an officer.

THE INCIDENT

The incident occurred this time at Queens Beauty Supply Store in Pembroke Pines. Apparently, Foxy Brown arrived at the store shortly before closing time wearing a bright neon green jacket, knee-high stiletto boots and a denim mini-skirt. She purchased a squirt bottle of hair glue and then visited the store's restroom in order to apply adhesive to her hair. According to the owner, Hayssam Ghoneim, he knocked on the bathroom door, indicating that the store was now closed. At first there was no response. So when the owner knocked more urgently, Marchand replied that she was not yet finished with her hair. Ghoneim indicates that he said to her:

"This is not a beauty salon. You need to leave. The store is closed. "

Upon opening the door, Inga Marchand cursed at Ghoneim and attempted to push him out of the way. She then tried to squirt some of the glue at him, but missed. Ghoneim reports that Marchand knocked over a couple of display shelves and threatened him, right before spitting on the floor and leaving.

TROUBLES WITH THE LAW

The rapper was eventually arrested in the parking lot of the shopping plaza. Per police reports, officers attempt to take her back to the store, at which time Marchand struggled with the police, swinging her arms and swatting. Police took Marchand down with force, but no injuries to either party were reported.

This is not the first time that Foxy Brown has had troubles with service industry professionals (and the law.) Ten years ago was arrested for spitting on two hotel workers in North Carolina. Between 2000 and 2002, Brown has been implicated on other charges including assault and traffic violations. And in 2004, Brown attacked two nail salon technicians in Manhattan. Though she was not charged with the crime until 2005, she was eventually sentenced to three years probation and anger management counseling. As for the case involving the Queens Beauty Supply store owner, Foxy Brown was last reported as being held at the Broward County Sheriff's Office on $1,500 bail. Charges were filed based on her assault on both the police, and the store owner.

Foxy really needs to be in therapy and anger management or at least vent her anger into some albums.
