The Unthinkable

According to MTV , rapper Juvenile's daughter was murdered along with her sister and mother. Juvie's daughter, Jelani, who was 4, was gunned down by her brother in Georgia. The 17 year old, Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. was charged with three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault for the murder of his mother and his two sisters after he confessed to killing them. Police recovered the gun courtesy of a dive team near an undisclosed body of water nearby. When police proceeded to enter the house they found Micaiah's body laid sprawled out just inside the doorway. While continuing to look for the boy's mother and other sister, police went upstairs only to discover they had both been shot.

After a half hour of police authorities occupying the house, Terrell walked in the house only to tell police he had shot and killed his family. He even offered the information to where the murder weapon was. The mother Joy Deleston, who was a Gwinnett County Sheriffs office deputy, also branched out to act and star in local films within the community. Friends and fellow deputies of the mother describe her as being a beautiful person on the outside as well as within.

Juvenile who was once a member of the popular rap group, The Hotboy's was arrested on charges in 2003 of abandonment of a child. He was proven to be the father of Jelani after taking a DNA test. A warrant was issued out for his arrest after he failed to pay child support for Jelani. The rapper was also arrested in February of this year after he was pulled over for having expired tags on his car which later lead to a drug possession charge for having marijuana. At present time the rapper, and his label Atlantic Records, were unable to be reached for comment. The former Cash Money Records star has been inactive in the hip hop scene since the disaster in New Orleans known as Hurricane Katrina.

Terrell, a sophomore at Central Gwinnett High School will be undergoing harsh legal prosecutions, until then he is being detained at Dekalb County Jail in Georgia. While police are still searching for a motive in the case, no further details have emerged. For security purposes he wasn't confined to a cell in Gwinnett County. The teen later went on to waive all of his legal rights and is set to appear in court sometime next week.

This is so sad. I wonder what made the son want to kill his mother and siblings.

Wow that's horrible I didn't even hear about this. If it's true he really didn't attend the funeral, that's really classless.

Regardless what you say there is no excuse to not go to you're child's funeral, just my opinion and that's real talk! Sure everyone has thier own way of showing grief I believe but that's just strange. I agree with you on the point that parents to need to be in thier child's life or things like this may have a possibility of happening.

THIS HAD DEEPLY SADDEN ME WHEN I READ IT. MY QUESTION WAS, WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH, THIS CHILD'S HEAD TO MAKE HIM WANT TO KILL HIS ENTIRE FAMILY? WHAT DID HIS LITTLE SISTERS DO TO HIM TO MAKE HIME COMMIT THIS HORRIBLE CRIME AGAINST THEM. THERE WAS NO REASON TO KILL HIS FAMILY OVER WHAT EVER PROBLEM HE WAS HAVING. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE FAMILY OF THE VICTIMS. JUVENILLES ARREST AND CONVICTIONS AND CHILD SUPPORT PROBLEMS DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE LOST OF HIS DAUGHTER. IT SADDENED ME TO HEAR HE DIDN'T ATTEND THE FUNERAL. BUT, PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OWN WAYS OF GRIEVING. HE PROBABLY GRIEVE FOR HIS CHILD THE BEST WAY HE KNEW HOW. SO PLEASE DON'T BE CONCERNED ABOUT HIS GRIEVING. BE CONCERNED ABOUT HOW KIDS TODAY ARE OUT OF CONTROL, AND THINK ABOUT HOW THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE PROPER COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR CHILD, OR IF YOU DON'T SEEK HELP FOR THEM WHEN THEY NEED IT YOUR CHILD CAN HURT THEMSELVES, YOU OR SOMEONE CLOSE TO THEM.

This really hit close to home (literally), as my husband and I lived in Gwinnett County - not far from where the murders occurred. We just recently moved and are both saddened by the news, even though we did not know this family. I am still perplexed by entire sequence of events.

Update: Juvenile didn't attend the funeral of his daughter

I HEARD ABOUT THIS AND IT IS JUST ANOTHER REMINDER OF THE INNOCENT GET KILLED EVEN IF THEY HAVE FAMILY THAT ARE FAMOUS. I PRAY FOR HE AND HIS FAMILY.
