Underground Rapper and Internet phenomenon Reh Dogg is still self producing his unique videos and energetic music tracks. The Virgin Island native is no stranger to controversy. He has appeared naked in his Youtube videos. He has threatened and ridiculed his music rivals. Months ago he endorsed Democratic nominee Barack Obama for President. However, something changed Reh Dogg's mind and in July of 2008, he released a vehement anti-Obama video. What made Reh Dogg change his mind?

Months ago you had videos where you were endorsing Barack Obama. You were even trashing his then party rival Hillary Clinton in your videos? Why did you withdraw your support from the Illinois Senator?

RD: When I endorsed Obama, his message of hope was inspiring. I myself am conservative and I really thought Obama was conservative like Bill Clinton. Thanks to Rush Limbaugh's Operation Chaos his true liberal side was exposed. I really hate liberals.

You released a video critical of Obama. It even shows his former pastor the Reverend Wright in it. What are Obama's views that trouble you?

RD: Pretty much everything bothers me about the little squirl. He wants to take money from the rich and give it to the poor. I believed he told "Joe the Plumber" spread the wealth. I am not rich but I work damn hard to live the American dream. I despise people who want to sit on their fat ass and take from the government. I believe in a small government. If I liked socialism I would have moved to Europe. Obama is a stuck up Elitist. He has the nerve to say McCain is out of touch. What a bunch of crap. My mother always told me watch the company you keep. Obama hangs out with a domestic terrorist and a minister who hates America and white people. A wife who is always angry and was never proud of her country until her husband ran for president. Basically he has bad judgment.

Are you voting for John McCain? Ralph Nader? Cynthia McKinney?

RD: I don't really want to say who I'm voting for; but you know I'll be voting for the most conservative team even if she's not at the top of the ticket.

Obama is popular in the Hip Hop Community especially with many high profile rappers, have you been given grief about not supporting him?

RD: Grief isn't the word. I have been called a traitor to my own race. People tried to shame me into voting for Obama. Some have even begged me to change my position. I stand up for principles I believe in even if it's not popular. I guess you can say I'm a maverick like Sarah Palin and John McCain.

Does Reh Dogg have any future plans to be on TV? What can we expect to see from you?

RD: I've been all over G4TV recently 4 separate times. Negotiations are now in the works for yet another TV show in the United Kingdom.

I agree so much with Reh Dogg, and Peter Griffen below. Reh and Peter are spot on. Obama is a disastrous pick for president. These liberals who posted here have bought into the hype and have drank the poison laden "cool aid" so to speak. Oabma is far too radical and his views and policies are bad for the country, certainly bad for the economy. When inflation hits, it will hurt all of these liberals, the poor, EVERYONE. They can thank Obama and cannot blame Bush. The Rich do not have enough money for these liberals to take for Obamas spending most of which goes to pork spending which does not benefit the people. America could have picked any other black man not as radical and they at least would not see Obama's poll numbers plummeting as they are today because Obama is a weak far left indoctrinated ineffective misguided ideologue, sad really. Obama wants to change this country for the worst because he does not believe in Capitalism! He thinks by diminishing and undermining Ameri

I don't know who this Reh Dogg is and who really care's who he is, he does not influence the election the presidency or the out come of anything, wow he's black so that makes him some kind of expert because he has a bad feeling for Obama. Obama don't give a rat's behind about him or what he think's, man stick to your music what ever it is if you ain't rich then shut up already, if you are then just get over it, i'm sure you've hung around some unsavory character's in your time to all of you have don't throw stone's when you to live in a glass house.

As a young Hispanic male I cannot vote for Obama. He only speaks of uplifting Negros.

  • Smitty10/24/2008

I actually think that this clown not endorsing Obama if anything will help him win an election. You ever see one of his videos????

  • Peter Griffin10/24/2008

i agree with Reh Dogg. I don't care for his music but his opinion is spot on about Obama. The thing about Liberals is when you speak the truth about them they try to tear you down. Joe the plumber is a private citizen. What gives Obama campaign the right to dig through his life? Liberals are mean spirited people. Obama is nothing more than a smooth talking fraud
