Rascal Flatts Concert Review

If you like country music then you've probably heard of Rascal Flatts. They've been around awhile and they just keep getting bigger and more popular. Their cd's are just loaded with several hits played on numerous radio stations. This was my first Rascal Flatts concert and I would recommend going, to anyone who is a fan even if your not a die hard fan, such as myself. I like country music, but I like a variety of musicians, so I don't limit having just a few that hold my interest. The show was really put together well. It wasn't just stand up there and sing with just basics.

The crowd was really excited, well behaved and really into enjoying the performance. I actually saw many families there where the mother and father were with their children. You normally don't see too many families or even kids under 5 at these late events. I had to look twice a few times because couples brought children so young they couldn't even walk. It wasn't like a daycare center or anything like that, there were only a small amount of children. I was just surprised and glad noone was causing trouble.

Rascal Flatts performed songs off their new cd plus Everyday, My Wish, Bob That Head, Me and My Gang and Here. They played over an hour and a half and included some cool older songs redone. They came back for an encore and put a little Beatles into the mix. The huge display of video, lighting and special effects were really put together well. Between the band, the special effects and the 2 huge jumbo live close up videos playing showing the members of the group, there was so much to watch.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw fireworks in the sky off to my right. It wasn't like the fourth of July or anything like that, but it was a cool addition to everything else that was going on. Usually you see people leave during the concert because its not enjoyable or early enough to beat the traffic. This concert was not like that. Of course, everyone didn't stay till they were kicked out, but a surprising majority of the fans and families stayed until they were sure Rascal Flatts had left the stage and the show was done. I had lawn seat tickets and still enjoyed the show. You definitely get your money's worth no matter where are seated. Security did a good job with the gates and traffic. Food and beverages were a bit pricey, but you are not required to purchase any.
