Rascal Flatts 'Mayberry' Song Lyrics Review

A Detailed Review of the Song Lyrics from Their Album 'I Melt'

Country music is in my opinion one of the greatest aspects of our world. There are so many talented country musicians that write incredible songs that can really reach out and touch a person. I have always been a huge fan of country music, and really any music for that matter. I like the different sounds and melodies, however what affects me the most is the song lyrics. Each song has its own unique message, whether it be about falling in love, breaking up, friendship, or countless other things. Even though we may love the tone of a song, it is the song lyrics that we relate to which really make us fall in love with it. Rascal Flatts song lyrics are typically amazing, and the song 'Mayberry' from their album 'I Melt' is one that will bring up memories of the past and make you think about old times.

The lyrics to Rascal Flatts' song Mayberry depict the way life used to be before the world started changing and becoming so fast paced. These words describe a place (Mayberry) where "Sunday was a day of rest," you had time to sit on the porch and enjoy a nice Cola, everyone in town knew one another, and children spent the days playing outside or fishing with their fathers. The Mayberry lyrics are very touching in that they will make you reminisce on the way things used to be and really help put into perspective what's important in life. We live in a society that is so focused on getting things done and accomplishing so much in one day that we sometimes forget to take a second to breathe and enjoy what we have. Rascal Flatts' Mayberry lyrics are great for anyone who has been so caught up in what they're missing out on that they haven't taken time to appreciate what they are a part of. Maybe after listening to this song you will want to take a long drive down an old back road, or take a walk with your family- enjoy what you've got and slow down a little bit, life is too short to miss the little moments that mean the most.
