RaShaunda is not only a motivational speaker, but she is great in mentoring others to move towards their destiny and purpose in life. Today, I caught up with RaShaunda to learn more about her latest project called MySocialMediaMentors and here's what she had to say:
KF: Good afternoon RaShaunda, how are you today?
RF: I'm wonderful Karen! Thank you for asking.
KF: I wanted to thank you again for speaking with us today and I also wanted you to know that the last show you did on Blogtalkradio was a show-stopper. I am still getting calls from people asking when will Ms. Fuller be doing another show....so do you have any plans to bless us with a new show in the future?
KF: Wow! I don't know what to say except ...YES, I'd be honored. And thank you for the opportunity it's always a pleasure to speak to your audience.
KF: Now, let's get to the really exciting news. I understand that you're launching a new company called MySocialMediaMentors.com? First tell me what the inspiration was behind creating this company?
RF: Yes, I'm very excited. The inspiration behind this program was simply me noticing the way Social Networking has changed the way we live. It's changed the way we communicate. Personally, for me it's opened many doors that otherwise I might not have gotten the chance to walk through.
What inspired me to launch this program was the fact that I noticed many people either don't understand the value in these platforms specifically speaking the money making potential or they do understand you can make money using social networking but they don't know how to do it. That's where MySocialMediaMentors.com comes in. I want to share what I've learned with as many people as possible to help them start to make money from their social networking efforts.
KF: Why did you pick the name "MySocialMediaMentors?"
RF: Well Karen, as you already know, part of my purpose is to motivate/inspire others to reach their goals. So, I wanted to incorporate that part of my life into MySocialMediaMentors.com. There are so many programs out there that teach Social Networking. Thousands of them I'm sure.
I didn't want to take that approach. And, I don't want to sell a program in which the content/information would be obsolete in the very near future. I want to give my community an ongoing up close personal relationship, while positioning them to be able to adapt to a platform that is ever evolving and ever changing. I simply want to share what I've learned and help others become successful using their social media presence. Mentoring is more natural for me vs. teaching.
KF: Tell our readers what the benefits to MySocialMediaMentors are?
RF: Wow! There are so many. I've tried to pack as much as I possibly could into the monthly membership. The main benefits members will get from the program is the ability to increase their net worth by increasing their network! This is the main thing people are interested in. How do I make money using social networking?
Programs like mine would normally cost someone THOUSANDS of dollars. But I didn't want to take the route of charging astronomical prices for something I love to do and something that could help someone just as much as it's helped me. I want to give my members corporate level resources at small business prices. It doesn't matter what industry they are in, I can help everyone from nonprofits, B2B, small/medium businesses, enterprise corporations, home businesses, retail, public speakers, hospitality, local businesses, life coaches and more!
KF: When is the official launch taking place and where will the world be able to contact you?
RF: This official launch is taking place this week. And, the world can contact me at www.MySocialMediaMentors.com and for speaking engagements they can contact my publicist Dee Dee Cocheta of ABC Publicity @ DeeDee@abcpublicity.com or @ 888.525.0901 EXT. 705.
KF: RaShaunda, I know this was a labor of love, so can you give any words of wisdom to those that have a business in their heart, but don't know how to bring it forth?
RF: GO FOR IT! That would be my number one piece of advice/wisdom. Many times people are afraid to take chances. I used to be that way. I was stuck in the grasp of corporate America afraid to trust using my own gifts/talents to provide for me and my family but I decided to just go for it! The worst thing that could happen is it wouldn't work. Just as if I'd put my trust into a job. The worst thing that could happen is to lose it. Well, either way you have to put fears aside and be willing to take a chance.
One thing I've learned about some of the most successful people is that they have had more failures that they've had successes. Simply put, you can't let the fear of losing keep you from getting in the game and trying to WIN!
KF: Your journey has been an inspiration to world. Have you thought about writing a book?
RF: Funny you should ask, because it's been suggested to me several times lately and I've even been offered help if I was to do so. So, I'll take this as confirmation that I should and maybe I will. Yes, in the near future there will be a book coming. If writing a book will somehow serve as inspiration in someone's life then yes, I will definitely write a book.
KF: RaShaunda, as always, I thank you so much for sharing your vision and your love for what you do with the masses. I wish you continued success in everything you put your hands to.
RF: Thank you Karen. Thank you, for once again allowing me the opportunity to spread the word. And on a personal note, I want to thank you for your continued support and belief in me!
