1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup milk
1 pkg (12 oz) frozen raspberries, thawed - drained
Mix and sift flour, salt and baking powder. Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream
until fluffy; add well beaten egg and mix. Add vanilla to milk. Add sifted dry ingredients
with milk to butter mixture, mixing just enough after each addition to keep batter smooth.
Pour into a greased pan, 9 x 13 in; sprinkle with well drained raspberries.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 mins. Cool 5 mins. While warm, frost
with frosting recipe below.
Frosting:
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
3 tbsps. cream
1 tsp. melted butter
Mix well and frost cake
