Raspberry Chipotle Cream Cheese Spread

Although we all have the best intentions of slaving away over a hot oven to produce our contribution to the next family get-together, sometimes, we just don't have enough time. For those of us who are constantly in a hurry, I have a solution for the next company potluck - Raspberry Chipotle Cream Cheese Spread.

For this recipe, you will need one 8 ouce square of cream cheese and at least 8 ounces of raspberry chipotle salsa. Depending on where you live, this particular salsa flavor may be difficult to find. If you are having trouble, do a quick search on the internet. Several companies offer this salsa and will ship it to you at a reasonable cost. If you still can't get your hands on it, you can use any other variation of salsa with this recipe.

Unwrap your cream cheese and place it in the center of a platter with a lip around the edges. Open your salsa and pour it over the cream cheese. In order to prevent spills, try to keep most of the salsa on top of the cream cheese and only a small amount around the edges. Arrange chips or crackers around the cream cheese for everyone's dipping pleasure!
