1) Ravens-Texans Matchup
This week's Monday Night Football game features two quality NFL teams in the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans. The two teams do not have a long history competing against each other. Overall, Baltimore and Houston have encountered only 3 times with the Ravens winning all 3. The last time they met was in 2008. The Texans lost that game by a lopsided score of 13-41.
2) John Flacco vs. Matt Schaub
Monday's primetime game pits two above-average quarterbacks against each other. Both QBs enjoy similar offensive numbers this season. Baltimore's Flacco has accumulated 2988 passing yards, 19 TDs, and a QB rating of 93. Moreover, the third-year quarterback has posted a game rating of over 100 at least six times this year. Likewise, Houston's Schaub has amassed 3089 passing yards, 17 TDs, and a 93 QB rating. The veteran quarterback has thrown at least 2 touchdowns in a game on six different occasions. Statistically speaking, there is no real advantage for either player.
3) John Harbaugh vs. Gary Kubiak

The highly anticipated contest features two teams on a divergent path. The Baltimore Ravens is well on their way to the team's 6th playoff appearance, while the Houston Texans is fighting hard in hope of reaching their first ever playoff. If Houston was to make the postseason, the team will have to contend with one of the NFL's best defensive teams in the Ravens. John Harbaugh's team has been extremely impressive defensively, ranking 5th in rushing defense and 11th in opponent passing yards. Baltimore has also been solid in offense, placing 15th and 16th in two key offensive categories.
After winning four of the season's first six games, the Texans have struggled to maintain form losing 5 of the last 6 games. The team's biggest weakness this year has been its defense. Gary Kubiak's crew has allowed at least 24 points in a game on 12 different occasions this season. Houston currently ranks last in passing defense and 11th in opponent rushing yards. The only bright spot for the Texans this year has been its offense, which places 10th overall. As statistics matter a whole lot in football, Kubiak's team will need a miracle in its attempt to upset heavy favorite Baltimore.
My prediction for the 2010 NFL Monday Night Football game between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans; the Ravens win easily 25-10. Kickoff time for the game is 8:30 PM EST. ESPN will broadcast this contest.
