Ravenswood Elementary School Seeks Volunteers

The Ravenswood Elementary School, a fine and performing arts school and magnet cluster, is seeking volunteers for their Spring Forward event to be held on March 26, 2011. The school, which is located at 4332 North Paulina Street in Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood, has a number of volunteer openings for this event. Available volunteer opportunities include helping with auction item solicitation (prior to the event,) event set-up, event clean-up, obtaining corporate sponsors (prior to event,) and event public relations. In addition, event hosting and welcoming committee opportunities are also available.

To be eligible for a volunteer opportunity, you will need to access the volunteer form through the school's website and submit it back to the event coordinator, or you can call 773-743-7436. The Spring Forward proceeds will go to benefit Ravenswood School. The celebration and fundraiser will include food, music and live and silent auctions.
