Raw Foodism: The Top Ten Books on the Subject

What exactly is this Raw Foods Diet? There are many versions of the diet but to keep it simple I will just give you the basics. A raw food diet is just as it sounds. Basically it is eating food that has been processed as little as possible. Ideally raw and organic. If the food cannot be eaten raw it will then likely be steamed. You can eat anything on the diet as long as it is not processed. However, most adherents eat mostly fruits, nuts, sprouts, and grains. They will usually add raw dairy and cheese. Unless they are doing the vegan version of the diet they will add meats also. Some eat their meats raw but most will lightly steam the meat for safety. The diets proponents claim many health benefits. Does all this sound like something you are wanting to try? Looking for a way to get started?
