Having spent more than 30 years as an actor on the big screen, Ray Liotta has had his pick of many rolls on television and in the movies.

Raymond Liotta was born on December 18th 1954 in Newark, New Jersey and was adopted when he was 6 months old. He studied acting at the University of Miami and has been acting since 1978 starting with television then moving onto the big screen in 1983, however it wasn't until his part in the comedy Something Wild when his career took off in 1986.

Field of Dreams 1989 - - Rated PG - Liotta plays Shoeless Joe Jackson in this heart- warming film with Kevin Costner who plays Ray Kinsella. Ray Kinsella is a farmer who grows corn and is about to loose his farm. "If you build it, they will come" is heard by Ray Kinsella and he goes on to build a baseball field where ghosts of baseball past including Shoeless Joe Jackson.

Goodfellas 1990 - Rated R- One of the best mafia movies of all time, Liotta plays Henry Hill who has ups and downs in his career as a mobster with drug trafficking and jail time before ending up in the Witness Protection Program as an informant. Liotta's spot-on performance carries throughout making this a classic. You can never get enough of Goodfellas! A must see!

Corrina, Corrina 1994 - Rated PG - For the family, this heart felt comedy should keep you all entertained. Liotta plays the role of Manny Singer, a recent widower trying to move-on with his life along with his daughter and other lead role actress Whoopi Goldberg who brings joy back into their lives as the comical housekeeper and nanny.

Unforgettable 1996- Rated R - Liotta plays Dr. David Krane who is a suspect in his wife's murder. He becomes obsessed with finding the murderer to clear his name. He finds a researcher testing a new scientific breakthrough that allows memories to be transferred from one person to another. He tests the syrum on himself to see glimpses of his wife's last moments.

Turbulence 1997- Rated R - Liotta plays Ryan Weaver who has been arrested for murder, but claims he is innocent. While being escorted to Los Angeles on a plane another prisoner being escorted goes off the deep killing the pilots and the air marshals. It is a great suspense movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Heartbreakers 2001- Rated PG-13 - I just happened to see this movie at my sister's house, I had never heard of it, most likely because my husband would have deemed it as a chick-flick. Ray Liotta's charm and reputation as a "bad boy" shines through and teamed up with Sigourney Weaver, you know there will be some sparks! It is a great comedy and I highly recommend it!

Control 2005- Rated R -From the very beginning I was on the edge of my seat. Ray Liotta plays Lee Ray Oliver, an inmate on death row for a vicious crime and obviously a lifelong criminal. I don't want to give too much away on this movie, but it is definitely a must see!
