Ray's Weather Center: Weather Forecasts for NC

Thomas Griffin
Ray's Weather Center just started out as a simple hobby for Dr. Ray Russell in 1999. What began as a simple hobby has now turned into an advertising and booming weather website. It turned into "the most widely read media outlet in NW NC averaging nearly 4 million web paged delivered each month and read by about 200,000 people per month."1 Ray's Weather now covers weather situations for places all over the foothills and mountains of North Carolina and continues to grow as an internet information provider every day.

Ray's Weather gives weather forecasts to the following areas in NC:
(all individual links are hosted and run under the main site of Ray's Weather)

Asheville, NC - ashvilleweather.com
Ashe County, NC - asheweather.com
Avery County, NC - averyweather.com
Boone, NC - booneweather.com
Burnsville, NC - burnsvilleweather.com
Hickory, NC - hickoryweather.com
Lenoir, NC - lenoirweather.com
Mitchell County, NC - mitchellweather.com
Morganton, NC - morgantonweather.com
Sparta, NC - spartaweather.com
Waynesville, NC - waynesvilleweather.com
Wilkes County, NC - wilkesweather.com
Wolf Laurel, NC - wolflaurelweather.com

Each of these sites contain other specific locations within the specific region requested of weather forecasting.

Ray's Weather also does huge advertising business, generating massive web traffic. According to Ray, "In an average month, RaysWeather.Com delivers over 2.5 million web pages and over 27 million advertisements to an estimated 150,000-200,000 people."2

As one who regularly uses this website, I would highly recommend you use it as well! As for forecasting and accurate weather forecasts, Ray's Weather tops all other weather providers that I've seen and used. Ray is constantly providing you with accurate and up-to-date weather information. He also gives extended forecasts for the week and tells you what to expect should upcoming storms arrive. The website gives you a very personal feel, almost like he is giving the forecast just to you and nobody else. The website also provides you with warnings should inclement weather arise (as it so often does during the winter in NW NC). All in all, you will find that this website suits all your weather needs and then some!

Be sure to check out Ray's Weather soon, and there you will find "good data, "local flavor", and THE most reliable forecast."3
