Razor Scooter Pocket Mod

What to Known when Shopping for the Pocket Mod Euro Mini Scooter from Razor

One of the more popular motorized scooters for kids these days is the Razor Scooter Pocket Mod Euro Mini. It's no wonder really that it has become so popular - it is not only a sleek little scooter, it has quite a number of features that are quite important for the kids who ride them - and their parents!

Here are some features that will be important to know prior to buying the scooter:

Weight Limit: It has a limit of 150 pounds, so should accommodate just about any young rider - even many adults!

Age of Kids: The recommended age for this scooter is 12 years of age or older. I believe that this recommendation is based on the fact that this scooter can go relatively fast compared to some other scooters - it will probably accommodate kids of a younger age and size but is not recommended by the Razor company.

Speed: The maximum speed of the Razor Scooter Pocket Mod Euro Mini is 15 MPH. This may not sound very fast, but again it is a bit too speedy for kids younger than the recommended age. I also strongly recommend a helmet and some safety pads when riding - no matter the age.

Stability: Based on the reviews that I studied for the Pocket Mod Euro Mini Scooter, it is made to be easily controlled by the rider, and is not likely to become "unruly" or unstable.

Motor: This scooter comes with an electric, rechargeable motor that will run up to 10 miles fully charged. It is also quiet (a feature many parents will appreciate)! Even though this scooter has a maximum speed of 15 MPH, the motor is nevertheless powerful, having a chain driven mechanism.

Colors: There are a total of six colors that I have found for this scooter, some more easily tracked down than others. They include "Hot Mod" (Red, exclusive to one online store), "Vapor" (Black), "Betty" (Lavendar), "Sweetpea" (Pink, also comes with tassels on the handlebars), "Bella" (Dusty Pink) and "Bistro" (Aqua).

Shopping: There are quite a number of stores online that carry the Razor Scooter Pocket Mod, however some of them are better than others in terms of selection and price. On a budget? It is possible to find this scooter from a couple of places that offer a "factory cosmetic defect" price - and the defects seem to be quite minor including slight sticker misplacement and some minor scratches on the exterior. The general list price tends to vary according to the version or color purchased.

Good suggestion on the helmet and pads. I think anyone who rides a motorized scooter should wear at least a helmet.
