R&B Sensation Chris Brown Arrested
Oh Say it Isn't so Chris!
What makes this horrible story of abuse so "intriguing" is the fact that the victim of his alleged abuse is girlfriend Rihanna, who is an R&B, pop star in her own right. The very attractive Rihanna is known for her string of hits in recent years which include "Umbrella", "Take a Bow" and "Disturbia".
According to a rumor on the Tom Joyner morning radio show, the pair argued about a sexually transmitted disease that Rihanna allegedly gave to Brown. It was stated that the STD rumor was floated around by many inside sources. The New York Daily News reports that the couple was inside a vehicle when the argument got heated and ended up in a physical altercation. She was said to have had multiple bruises and was treated at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
So where does music's young golden couple go from here?
I can not imagine the two of them getting back together after such an incident. It would clearly send a bad message to their young fans. Both Rihanna and Chris Brown have been blessed with lives that many can only dream about, and many young people do admire them.
Domestic violence should never be tolerated no matter what the circumstances are surrounding it. Personally, I would really hate to see Brown's career end, but at the same time I do not think his violent outburst towards his girlfriend should be swept under the rug. This is very serious and he definitely needs counseling because he obviously has anger issues. The bottom line is there is NO logical reason for a man to hit a woman. Even if the radio and internet rumors are true about Rihanna cheating, that is not a free pass for Chris Brown to start beating on her. As for Rihanna, I hope she gets the help she needs as well and realize she does not have to put up with any man-even a super star like Chris Brown physically abusing her.

First of all, Chris is not sick and twisted man. I think he was angry by the news or rumor about her giving him STD. But I am not saying its wrong to hit a woman. I will pray for Chris and Rihanna and I hope she gets well.
I think that the issue between Chris Brown and Rihanna are very bad. I am from Tappahannock. But I think Chris does need couseling and I think they should give him a second chance. For Rihanna, I think she needs couseling to.
AND his actions and the defense of his actions really do a lot of negative damage the image of the black community!
God! We need more Obamas no Chris Browns!

I wouldn't "beat the crap out of" a woman...for any reason. And for you to insinuate that anyone else would behave like a heathen is stupid. I can't stand you people, defending an abuser. How much does rihanna weight? 105 lbs? Brown? 170? He's a black-belt, and he's a MAN, naturally stronger. It was wrong for him to put his hands on her. A real man would walk away and cool off, not bite his girlfriend and make her bleed. All of you who are defending this behavior are delusional. And if you use that lame a** STD ploy to hide behind , that makes you a coward. And YES, I'm taking the woman's side! It's not as if she could hold Chris down and beat and bite him, but he can obviously do that to her. You people make me sick.
Chris Brown is presumed innocent until proven guilty despite the fact that the alleged victim has been identified as Rihanna. The total facts regarding the incident are still unknown. Chris Brown, like other Americans, is entitled to due process under the law and defenses. Self-defense among other defenses should be considered. While Rihanna may have bruises exactly how those bruises were obtained should be thoroughly and completely weighed and considered. Both Chris Brown and Rihanna should be given fair consideration.
