RCabins is located in Channing, Michigan - 25 miles north of Iron Mountain. The owners of RCabins, Carol and Tex, go way out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable. RCabins consists of a duplex cabin that is almost brand new. They also have 3 older cabins that are smaller but still sleep up to 4 people. They are all equipped with mini-kitchens, decorated in a rustic motif and are warm and inviting retreats after a long day in the great outdoors. Rustic, yet modern with wireless internet!
This Michigan wonderland is on a 10 acre parcel. They have a bait shop on the premises, as well as a butcher shop. Tex has been known to whip up gourmet meals for their guests (customers) on his bigger than life grill. There is a lot of outdoor seating such as picnic tables, and swings where you can sit, relax and enjoy nature.
Carol and Tex have come to realize that they want to be in a warmer climate and have put RCabins on the market. This is a bargain to end all bargains. Their property includes their 2 year old home that they had built. It is one level with a full finished basement, plus all the rentals cabins and pole barns on a 10 acre tract. It's your living quarters and business all rolled into one! If you have always wanted to own your own cabin rental business and live on the premises in a beautiful home, then this could be the place for you.
I won't tell you what the price is, but you will be pleasantly surprised for all you get for your money. If you are interested, or know someone who is, go to RCabins website first and check out the photos and information. If it looks like something of interest, whether for a vacation or as a potential business for yourself, send an e-mail to C@rcabins.com and tell them you would like more information and tell them Greenhill sent you!
Why am I writing about this and what do I get out of it? Good question? Carol and Tex were the first couple who toured our house when we put it on the market last year. They would like to retired to TN and enjoy a quieter life. I can't blame them at all, as I am partial to Tennessee myself. The 4 of us hit it off and we have become long distance friends. I know they are ready for a change and I told them I would help out in any way I could. The only thing I will get out of this is the satisfaction of helping friends.
