REACH OUT to HER

Every once in a while I receive email from a fan that brings tears to my eyes. Today was one of those days.
Her story isn't any more unique than any other, really. But the fabric of her life is shattered. She is a young girl who has been in an abusive relationship by a relative. She is reaching out, crying out, actually, for help.
She's not asking for monetary help, or any other tangible kind of help. What she's looking for is acceptance. She feels God can't love her because of what she's been through.
There are so many people in this world who are living a life just like my young friend.
You are probably thinking, what can I do? That's the reason I'm writing this newsletter.
You can pray for her. You can pray for other people just like her. You can also search in your church, you place of employment, even the grocery store. There are hurting people every where, just waiting for a smile. Only a smile. Sometimes that's all it takes to begin a friendship.
I would be so happy if someone could reach my little friend, wrap their arms around her and just tell her, "I love you, and God loves you too."
It doesn't matter what her name is, because she could be sitting next to you at Church. She could be at the desk next to yours, or in the office beside you. Where ever she is, try to find her. Open up your heart to her. Let her know she's a valuable person.
You know what? You will be blessed too. Just by opening up your heart to someone else.
