Who doesn't like vinegar-based hot German potato salad? Since I was a young boy, I have loved and devoured German potato salad. Thankfully, Seneca Food Corporation out of Marion, New York, offers Read German Potato Salad. Read German Potato Salad is sold in 15-ounce cans and is a simple and quick way to prepare hot and delicious German potato salad.

Flavor

Read German Potato Salad has a distinctive vinegar and bacon flavor - just like any of the good German Potato Salad I've enjoyed over my life. The can boasts you are able to enjoy Read German Potato Salad hot or cold. Myself, I prefer German potato salad hot, so I really can't say much about what this tastes like cold - like most American potato salads are served.

While it's always great to make Read German Potato Salad with a traditional-style German meal, I think this product tastes really great with hot dogs, corned beef, and even bologna sandwiches.

The label on the Read German Potato Salad also has a BBQ German Potato Salad recipe, so don't forget to pick up a can or two when wanting to experiment with trying your hand at a few recipes that may call for German potato salad.

While you can expect the 500 mg of sodium that comes in Read German Potato Salad or 8 grams of sugar (after all, it's a canned food), you may be surprised to learn there are 2 grams of dietary fiber and less than 5 mg of cholesterol with every 1/2-cup serving.
