Reading Between the Lines: Being Able to Read Someone's Aura

The Aura is a persistent quality or character that can be seen radiating from a person, place or thing. Aura's have also described as an 'electromagnetic field that surrounds the human body'. To be able to read someones' aura is as simple as looking at your subject, closing your eyes, and taking a mental picture.

The best way to obtain this honed skill is to practice, practice, practice! Some ways to practice is on yourself, looking into a mirror and place a sticker on the middle of your forehead (in between your eyebrows) or imagine a spot there if you can.

Another way to practice is to find a friend who is willing to be your guinea pig and sit still while you stare at their forehead (or if you seem to get no response from the forehead chakra, try staring at the throat or chest chakras). Take a mental note of every feature then slowly close your eyes and remember the colours.

A tablet and pen will be handy at first because you will need to remember the colours, then after practice you will be able to list the meanings and combinations meanings just by experience. When you close your eyes and see the variations of colours, slowly open your eyes and remember the colours. At first you can expect to be looking up the colour meanings. For example, a deep red colour usually represents anger while, a yellow colour typically means the person is creative or easy-going.

Yet another way to stimulate your aura reading ability is to find a good forward facing picture and stare at the third-eye chakra, which is located in the centre of your chest in between your shoulder blades.

Remember to practice, practice, practice, it takes time to accumulate this skill!
