Ready to Go

Grab My Stuff and My Mutt... Gone

Casey
It's just too much to bear

The lies the surround this "home"

It drives me over the edge

All the negative energies

It brings me down

And I've been to the bottom

Fought tooth and nail to get back to the light

I feel as though I took ten steps backwards

Every time I step into this house

To the woman who accused me

Stealing her son, stealing her house...

Oh yes that's exactly what I did

I'm just a nasty mean evil person

Before they talked about me when I left the room

When you hear your name you know

Not like they tried to hide it

Now it's just sly underhanded comments

My spirit is still fragile

Although you wouldn't know from my outward appearance

I've learned fast to hide the pain

I learned young, far too young about real pain

Now I really don't need this

I don't even know why I'm still sitting here

Why I haven't just packed my stuff

Grabbed my mutt and headed on down the road

Alaska sounds nice...
