Real Estate in Tarrytown New York

Tarrytown is in Westchester County New York and is far enough away from New York City to be considered country and close enough to be considered a bed room community. It is on the banks of the Hudson River and shares the main shopping street with the Village of Sleep Hollow, made famous in the novels by Washington Irving. The Metro North Rail Road will take you right into Grand Central Station.

The Village of Tarrytown provides plenty of recreation space. Just check out their web site. The parks are beautiful, well taken care of. And being right near the Hudson river, there is plenty of boating to do. They have cruises along the Hudson that stop at the historic towns and villages like Tarrytown. It is a great way to spend a peaceful Sunday afternoon, just relaxing with the cool river breezes.

There is a tremendous variety when it comes to real estate in Tarrytown New York including a large amount of co ops. Each one of them is in a different style building and the highest priced one has more square footage then some of the smaller houses. This is very unusual in a co op, giving you the option of having plenty of living space, without any maintenance.
