Real Ghost Stories: Scary Encounters of the Supernatural

Scary encounters of the supernatural have been a common thing in my life. Maybe not as open in my own mind until recently as described in parts one and two of my Real Ghost Stories series. You have heard of several encounters in my previous two articles and you have heard how I have opened up my mind to the supernatural realm. However, I must say the supernatural have now communicated outside of my abode. What you will soon hear is chilling and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I have continued to hear and see the supernatural, but it is not as scary as previously spoken. I have become quite use to living with the paranormal and I believe they have as well. However, outside of my home and at other locations they are not as use to me as I would hope. I believe ghosts know I am able to communicate, because when I go somewhere that is haunted I feel, hear, and sometimes see the supernatural beings.

At first I thought maybe I was crazy and should probably be committed to a psych word for hallucinations and schizophrenia so I called my mother and explained everything that has been happening to me. During the conversation I was very surprised to find out that I was indeed not crazy. My mother, father, grandmother (moms side), and grandfather (moms side) also have the gift as well. Although not as strong as mine, they could sense negativity and could sense when something was wrong to avoid it in the future. With this newly gathered piece of information I decided to discuss this with other family members. Not long after I was asked to visit my father's house to see if they had a haunting.

So I went to my father's and was amazed by the amount of paranormal activity they have. Not just there house, but also the house down the street from them where a cousin resides. Out of the two houses I was deeply attracted to the house down the street. The first night at my father's was incredible. I was startled several times that night.

Once the family went to sleep I decided to stay awake and take some photographs and see what I could dig up. The photographs showed me what I expected from the feelings I had upon arrival. There was a bright ball of light near the back of the basement where most of the activity happened. This bright ball of light is also known as an orb. When I blew this photograph up on the computer and zoomed in I saw the face of an elderly woman. So I questioned this and asked my stepmother if she knew who that was. She told me, in awe, that was indeed someone she knew; it was her mom. Her mom had passed away several years back and she informed me that she could feel her mothers presence all the time. I was told that her mother was a bitter woman and would definitely make things of the occult happen if my stepmother wasn't doing something right within the house.

That same night I heard someone walking through the house several times and went to see if it was my dad up, but no one was awake. It was a still night. I thought nothing of this, but perhaps the house creaking. However, that night is when the ghost woman from my house had re-communicated once again, but this time it was much more intense.

I was fast asleep on the outside of the bed and at about one o'clock in the morning it happened. I was tucked into the bed with the blankets up to my neck. It was quite cold in the house that night, but not as cold as it was about to be. The blankets lifted off my body and were folded over my shoulders. I had to roll over and see if it was my dad, but there was nobody there. It was so cold; I could see the frigid air leaving my mouth as I breathed. I don't think I have ever been that cold in my life. That is when I heard ghost woman say wake up just as I had heard it before at home. It was the same woman.

This freaked me out just a little and I had to get up and walk about for a moment to get my heart rate down. As I went to the kitchen sink to get some water I looked out the window and my parking lights on my car were on. I knew they were off when I went to bed because I went outside to lock my vehicle, but once again I thought nothing of it, as I was tired and not fully awake.

I went outside to check my vehicle to make sure no one was around and that my vehicle wasn't broken into. There was nobody and the car was locked. Once I turned the vehicle lights off I was calmed down and decided to go back to bed. As I reached the porch and looked back I noticed that my dome light in my vehicle was now on. I wasn't scared, but rather irritated with the situation at such a late hour. I turned the light off and made my way back to bed.

As I said previously I was drawn to the house down the street. So that next day I went down there and walked through the house. I had a strong negative feeling in the back of the house where the master bedroom was. Almost like I wasn't at all welcome. That evening I took photographs throughout the house and outside the house. I was quite frightened with what I saw once I loaded the photographs and reviewed them for paranormal activity.

In that back master bedroom where I felt the negative feeling I saw in a photograph what appeared to be a woman sitting in a chair breast-feeding a baby. I was quite amazed at how vivid the photograph was. So I correlated the feelings I had with a woman that didn't want me there because she was in the midst of taking care of a child. As I was leaving the house I snapped a few photographs of the back porch area. In the window was a woman that I could see through standing in the window staring directly at me. I never went back.

This was an amazing trip to see my family and one I will never forget, but it is what happened a few days upon my return home that really scared me and a haunting that will always be a part of me. Stay tuned for part 4 of my Real Ghost Stories to find out what happened.
