Real Ghost Stories: Scary Encounters of the Supernatural

It is that time of year to think about goblins, vampires, and ghosts but what is really scary are the real ghost stories. Have you ever been alone in your dwelling and it just felt freaky? Like someone was there with you watching your every mood. Some don't believe at all in the supernatural and will argue with you all day long that it is all your head. My brother is one of those people. However, I do believe in the supernatural and I have my own ghost story to tell you.

What I am about to tell you are real life encounters and not merely made up ghost stories. I truly like to believe that the haunting in my life began when I was just a little boy, no older than just 4 when I heard the voices in my room and the feeling of someone jumping on my bed in the middle of the night. I remember thinking how scary it was and how haunted I felt. I would tell my parents, but of course they believed it to be my imagination. As I grew older the visions I had of spirits, the voices I heard speaking in the next room, and the jumping on my bed went away. So of course I erased all of that from memory. Until a couple years ago when it all came back.

It all started back up when my wife and I were watching "A Haunting" one night on television and I started thinking about a few encounters I had when I was a child. So for conversation sake I started speaking to my wife about it and no sooner that I started telling her about my real life ghost story did my child's television on the other side of the room just turn off and turn back on a few moments later. My wife thought that was scary and I just chalked it up as an electrical issue.

Well that Halloween my wife and I were taking photographs of our daughters in their Halloween costumes and it was life as normal, until we put the photographs on the computer and saw the most beautiful ball of light near my daughters hand. So of course out of curiosity I told my wife to blow the photograph up on her computer with her photography program and I knew then that the supernatural were back in my life.

What I saw in that ball of light, also known as an orb, had me stunned for days. It was the face of a little boy smiling almost like he was posing for the picture with my daughters. It is at this point that the real ghost stories started back up in my life at a rampant pace. Based on what had happened so far I decided to investigate, so I turned off every light in the house and took probably a hundred photographs that night throughout my house. I knew at that point that my house was potentially haunted by the supernatural.

Based off these few incidents I decided to call a paranormal investigator and ask them to come out and see what they could find. As they arrived at the house I of course greeted them in the yard, as any gentleman would and the investigator immediately felt a presence around me. As he shook my hand he informed me that I had an incredible positive energy that attracted the supernatural.

As the investigation went on I saw and heard things I never thought possible. As the spirits were provoked that evening I heard a radio in my garage playing, two men talking, and saw multiple bright balls of light fly by. Upon completion of the investigation he confirmed that we had spirits and that our house was haunted. The E.V.P. that was taken later confirmed all were spiritual beings that would not harm us. He further insisted on me speaking to a psychic to find out what was behind my energy.

I took the paranormal investigators advice and contacted a psychic and found out that I indeed have what is called a "sixth sense." This at first was very scary to me and I really didn't know how to handle this situation. As time went on I realized that it wasn't so bad and it actually made a lot of sense as I looked at my past. At this point I truly realized that I was able to speak of real ghost stories and that my life was about to shape around my family and the supernatural.
