Real Haunted Locations to Visit This Halloween

Now that Halloween is fast approaching a lot of adventurers are looking for haunted locations to visit. It is really a thrilling experience to visit real hunted locations because you are able to feel unearthly and supernatural activities that are indeed quite frightening. Below you'll find some amazingly spooky locations to send chills down your spine this Halloween!

One of the most popular haunted locations in San Jose, California is the Winchester House. This Victorian mansion contains 160 rooms and almost everything in this house contains 13 things, such as 13 panes of glass in the windows, 13 steps for every staircases except for one, and wooden floors with 13 sections. This house is described to be a maze because it contains numerous staircases leading to nowhere with lots of trapdoors and even blind chimneys. People say that only the ghost of Sarah Winchester, who designed and built the house, knows how to find her way around it.

Another hair rising location would be the Bryce Mental Institution which is in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This institution was already abandoned during the 60's after almost more than a hundred years of operation. Before it was closed, employees who were hired to work there would have mysterious and unusual incidences that prevent them from performing their jobs. Because of this, these employees would quit a few days after hiring. There are also reports wherein the visitors would have a scratch on their skin once they visit the institution and it will be gone once they leave.

A hotel in Alaska named Northern Lights Hotel had to close down its third floor after a little girl died on it. After that closing down, the front desk officers or receptionists would often receive a call from the third floor, specifically in room 303, from a girl who is looking for her mother. This is the room where the little girl stayed and died.

In Pennsylvania, an orphanage had burned down while all the children were still in it. Some people say that when you climb up the hills, you will notice bumps, and these bumps are the children that were buried and burnt alive at the said orphanage. People say that there are thirteen bumps when you go up the hill and twelve when you go down. Some people would claim that if you put powder on your car windows, you will be able to see little handprints from the children who were burned down in the orphanage.
