Real Housewives of Atlanta Unleash Their Alter Egos

Good Girls, Stepford Wives and Strippers Light Up Atlanta

While tonight's episode didn't reach the epic proportions of the "Kim-frontation," it wasn't as boring as the last two episodes have been. Thank God, because I was seriously ready to tune out and wait for the "Real Housewives of New York" to make their return. Which I can't wait for anyway.

Nene invites Kandi and Sheree for a spa day so they can discuss both the alter ego photo shoot and Kandi producing Kim's single, "Tardy for the Party." I've heard it and actually, it's kind of catchy. It was the strangest spa day I've ever seen. Nene and Sheree got Minx Nails, which is a hot nail trend and Kandi got a massage while fully clothed and sitting in a chair. I don't know. When I get a massage, I want to be face down on a table with candles, music and a hot masseuse named Sven. Kandi and Nene continue to butt heads as they debate who's the ghettoest one of them all. Let's have a walk-off and see who wins.

Next up, Kim and Lisa meet for lunch to have a "sit down." Kim blows a lot of hot air while Lisa looks like she'd like to flip the table on Kim, which Kim was half expecting apparently. The frenemies decide to call a truce. For now.

Later, it's Sheree and Kandi's turn to do the requisite Housewife bonding by meeting up at a pastry shop for some sweets, but as it turns out, no sweet talk. Sheree warns Kandi not to trust Kim but rather keep Kimberlocks as a fun girlfriend, but not as a confidant. We learn Kandi used to date Sheree's ex-husband's best friend. The most emotional moment of the night came when Kandi shared that her fiancé's nephew was in ICU after the car he was in was hit head on by a drunk driver. I think everyone's heart goes out to Kandi as she deals with this life-altering moment.

Kim hires a new nanny and apparently the only qualification to work for Kim is to compliment her boots, not hassle her about smoking or drinking and feed her kids a steady diet of fast food.

Lisa briefs Nene on her get-together with Kim and Nene reaffirms that Atlanta has got to be gossipiest town on the planet. One of the Housewives is always saying, "well, I've been hearing around town..." Do people work in Atlanta? Art director Nene continues to plan her alter ego photo shoot and remains bound and determined to make Kim Black and quick. I give Kim credit for putting the kibosh on that idea. Somehow, it doesn't seem like it would work. Kim decides to be a mistress and a Stepford wife instead. How great was it when Nene's husband, Greg, commented she wouldn't need much rehearsal for that one. Ouch!

Finally, the big alter ego photo shoot arrives and with the exception of Kim, it seemed like all the ladies had a great time and really nailed their shots. Lisa becomes good girl/bad girl; Kandi decides to send a message and is a drunk driver and her victim; Sheree pokes fun at her gold-digging image by portraying a fashionista getting robbed. Kim is clueless about how to be a Stepford Wife - shocker - but slips into the mistress role quite easily. As it turns out, Kim doesn't even know what an alter ego is. Again, shocker. Sixth Housewife, Dwight, crashes the party and dons a pair of hot pumps, which he absolutely worked. Sheree and Kim dance around each other before Sheree extends the olive branch and suggests they rally around Kandi due to her family tragedy. Finally, Nene transforms into a prude before she returns to her stripper roots, though she tried to play it off like she didn't know how to make those moves. Greg was quite hopped up seeing Nene up on the pole and commented how they strip for each other every night. As much as I love Greg, I really don't want to think about him stripping.

Next week, Nene plays Goldilocks, Lisa unveils her fashion line and Sheree acts a fool. Bring it.
