Real Housewives of New Jersey Preview

I love The Real Housewives franchise, and I think that fans of the shows are in for a real treat with The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The show will follow five New Jersey women as they live their luxurious lifestyles laced with entertaining drama. Unlike The Real Housewives of New York City and Atlanta, this show will feature actual housewives. Women who actually stay at home and take care of their children, home, and husband. I'm sure it will be absolutely delightful to watch. The New Jersey Housewives for this upcoming season are:

Teresa Giudice- A real housewife who left a career in the fashion industry to raise her three young daughters, this New Jersey housewife is married to her childhood sweetheart, and is focused on caring for her family. She is also involved in charity work, like with her friend Dina's charity, Project Ladybug, and enjoys entertaining her family and friends.

Dina Manzo- She is married to Tommy Manzo, her brother-in-law's brother. She met her wealthy husband, who is a co-owner of The Brownstone, a premiere catering facility, through her sister, Caroline. The sisters are married to brothers, which makes for interesting television viewing. Dina was married before and has a teenage daughter from that union. She has been married to Tommy for about three years.

Caroline Manzo- Dina's older sister, who is married to Albert Manzo, has been married to her husband for 25 years, and they have three children. She considers herself a throwback- a woman who puts her family first and is devoted to being a great wife and mother. She owns two successful businesses and prides herself on her feisty personality and her family's street smarts.

Danielle Staub- She is the mother of two daughters, who she refers to as being like best friends to her. She is currently going through a divorce, and is intent on receiving a hefty sum from her soon to be ex-husband, so that she can maintain the lavish lifestyle that she and her children have grown accustomed to.

Jacqueline Laurita- A self described down to earth lady, this housewife is a full-time wife and mother to her six-year old son with her husband Chris, and her teenage daughter from a previous marriage. She considers her husband her best friend, and she has a close relationship with her sisters-in-laws(her husband's sisters), Dina and Caroline Manzo. Jacqueline and her husband are hoping to expand their family.

These are the New Jersey housewives, and the first episode of the season airs on Bravo on May 12 at 10 p.m. Eastern time. Be sure to tune in and watch these ladies. I'm sure it will be very entertaining.
