Real, Legitimate Work from Home Jobs

Two Work at Home Jobs that Are Not Scams!

Mike C.
It is hard to find good, legitimate Work From Home jobs these days. When my husband joined the military and we had to move to Florida, I had to give up my teaching job. Once in Florida, teaching jobs were extremely hard to come by, especially since I am living in one of the highest paid teacher counties with some of the highest performing schools in the state. I searched for a position similar to what I had previously, but nothing came available. I started looking for work at home jobs but was bombarded by fake listings and money scams. However, I did find the two following work from home jobs that are in fact real and geared towards serious people who need or desire to work from the comforts of their homes.

Associated Content (AC)

Obviously if you're reading this article you see that I am a real Content Producer for Associated Content. What I do is write articles on just about every topic imaginable. I can write as much or as little as I want. Then, I either submit my content for payment or submit it without payment. If I submit the work for payment, it takes a few days to be accepted and offered a payment amount. If I like the payment amount, I accept it and the content is posted to AssociatedContent.com. Payment is sent to my Paypal account. If I do not like the amount they are giving me, I can reject it and either delete the writing or revise it. On the other hand, if I skip payment and submit a free piece, the content is published immediately. Once my work gets posted to the AC site people from all over the world can view and comment on my writings. I also get paid $1.50 for every 1000 views to my content. Furthermore, AC holds contests for monetary prizes as well as payment for each friend referral you make to AC.

To become a Content Producer, you must sign up at Associated Content and have a working Paypal account.

Educational Testing Service (ETS)

If you have experience in the education field, you can get a work from home job scoring ETS tests online. They list their opportunities here. If you meet the requirements for the position and are accepted, you then sign up for a training session. You must pass the training test to become a scorer for ETS. You are given two opportunities to pass the training session.

At ETS, you will be scoring tests such as the AICPA Uniform CPA Exam, AP Chinese and Japanese Exam written responses, GRE tests, Praxis tests, and TOEFL responses. Many require that the prospective scorer hold a Bachelor's degree as a teacher but some just require a Bachelor's degree. You can work part time or full time, and ETS asks you to pick your hours in the beginning. You are paid roughly $15 an hour, depending on which tests you are scoring.

Selling makeup and tupperware and food are popular work from home jobs, but if you are not the type of person who likes to host parties to sell stuff, then try out AC or ETS for a wonderful work from home opportunity.
