Real Player 11: A Multi-functions Real Player Version

Real Player is known to many people as a media player that is able to stream media over the Internet. However, the new version of Real Player has many other functions that you may want to use.

Every user can realize easily that Real Player 11's appearance is very similar to WMP 11. In the installing process, you should choose "Enable Browser Download Button in or der to download video clip from the internet. Here are main functions of Real Player 11:

1. Record Video Clip Directly from the Internet:

This function is compatible with Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. When watching a clip on the internet, you will see the "Download This Video" button to download the video into your computer to watch it offline. After the click on the button, a dialog will appear to assist you downloading the video.

2. Web Browsing Ability:

Unlike previous version, Real Player 11 allows you to browse the internet safely. You can also install many plug-ins. The appearance of web browser of Real Player is similar to Mozilla Firefox. Best of all, you should be aware of its speed. It is much faster than Windows Media Player.

3. Burning DVD and VCD:

In order to record your personal media library into DVD or VCD, click Burn/Transfer tab in the main appearance of Real Player. In "Tasks" section, choose "Burn a VCD/DVD". In the first time using this function, you have to connect to the internet and wait for Real Player to install Video Burn plug-in. Click "Add Clips", choose "Browse My Computer" and locate the video you want to put in. After completing the list, you have to put in a blank VCD or DVD before clicking "Burn Video to Disk". You can also burn an Audio CD by choosing "Burn a CD".

4. Record Sound from the Internet:

This is the most special function of Real Player. You can stream audio while listening to music on the internet. When an audio file is playing in "Music" section of Real Player, beside the "Play" button will appear a "Record" button. Simply click "Record" to save the audio file to listen to it later.

Unlike the previous version, Real Player 11 provides users more inconveniences and functions. Best at all, this version 11 is only about 13 MB of system resource.
