Viewpoints.com has reviews about local places, travel, products, websites, and so much more. The best part about Viewpoints.com is that the reviews are written by regular people, just like you and me. So you are not getting some "Professional" opinion, yet the honest truth. These people who have written reviews have played with the products, assembled them, what ever the case may be, but they know if they like it or not.
Unlike a couple other review sites, you do not get paid to write reviews. I think that this is good because you do not have people pounding out crap reviews just to earn some pennies. There are too many websites out there who unfortunately use that as a selling point to encourage more to join. People just make up stuff to earn money, and they do not even care what others see of it.
Another thing that I like about Viewpoints.com is that you have the ability on your own to add products that are not yet listed. This is also nice because other review sites have limited information. At Viewpoints.com you can add new products and be happy to know that you are writing the first review on the item, and you will probably get a lot of traffic to your review.
Besides writing reviews you can also read up on some of the latest and greatest gadgets, and rate how well you thought the review was written. Based on how many "good points" the review is written, the higher it will show up on the list. If you have a lot of "good points", your review will be seen more. Quality reviews tend to get a lot more traffic.
They do offer a few paid spots at Viewpoints.com. So, if you do have a good history of writing on the internet you may be up for this. I believe spots for paid writers at viewpoints.com are limited, but they do have a link on the site to apply. They also offer "Simple Thanks" awards. These awards are giving monthly to a limited amount of people, ones who show excellent work and activity on the site. The reward is a $20 Amazon gift card. I won the first month I signed up!
I recommend that if you haven't tried Viewpoints.com yet, check out the site. I think that you will be most impressed at how well organized they are.

Post a CommentI became suspicious of Viewpoints.com as being nothing more than another advertising scam site when the reviews were almost invariably positive, devoid of specific detail. This I verified by going to some sites where the reviews are known to be valid. Do you like reading reviews that are ACTUALLY ads?
I am a fan of ViewPoints.com, however I also frequent other review websites such as http://www.ReviewPage.com and http://www.InsiderPages.com as well. I am a big fan of the underdog!
