Real Ways to Make Money Online

Do you want to make money online? There are real, legitimate ways to do it. But each one of them take hard work and dedication, probably more than a "real" job. You are the only source for motivation if you are working for yourself, there is no one to tell you what to do or give you incentives. It all has to come from within.

So what are some real ways to make money online? There are too many to list, so I will only suggest a few that I know work because I've had experience with them, and actually have made money.

One way to make real money online is to sell things on eBay. You can set up a full-fledged business, or just sell things from around your house, or items you find at flea markets and second-hand stores. If you don't like all the new weird selling rules for eBay, there are many other online auction sites to choose from. You won't get the traffic you would from eBay, but it's worth a shot, and you can try to drive traffic through your own promotional efforts.

Another way to make real money online is to blog. Blogging is probably the easiest way to start making money online, although you need a lot of patience and dedication to get enough traffic to make anything from ad sense or any other type of monetization method. But I have personally made money, so I know it's possible. Not a lot, but I know the potential is limitless, and some people make their living from blogging.

My favorite way to make money online is writing for content sites. Sites like Hubpages, Constant Content, Ehow, Environmental Graffiti, Associated content, Helium and Infobarrel are all good legitimate content sites to write for. You get paid in various ways, through ad sense, through revenue sharing, or other methods. I make most of my online income through sites like these, writing articles. The income is mostly residual for me, although I do write sometimes for upfront payments.

If you want to make money online, it really is possible. There are other ways, where you can make even more. Affiliate marketing is one legit way, but the learning curve is higher, and is much more complicated than these other methods, but it's still worth a shot.
