Since I have been watching MTV's reality show the Real World for twenty-five seasons now, there is no reason to stop now. This show pioneered television reality shows long ago and it is still going strong. Wow! Here comes another cool season. Get ready.
The Real World is in San Diego for it's twenty-sixth season. The show was filmed in a La Jolla, California suburb. In a two story, eight room house complete with pool, a patio with an ocean view and a tennis court on the top deck. How nice! On the beach, of course. Sounds fabulous. You know the drill. Seven strangers meet up to live in a house together for a few months and drive each other insane. It always happens. It is always fun, terrifying, crazy and drama filled. Here we go. Meet the season twenty-six Real World show cast.
Alexandra Govere is 21. She is from Los Angeles. Sorta. That will be explained in the show. She graduated from high school at the age of fourteen, which impressed the heck out of me already. She sings and plays the guitar. I love talent. She will be lots of fun, I am sure.
Ashley Kelsey is 24. She hails from Connecticut. She is an aspiring model and gorgeous. Model agencies, snatch her up. She is a winner. She photographs quite well.
Samantha McGinn is a 24 year old gal from Virginia. Also known as Sam. She is gay. So I hear.
Priscilla Mendez is from San Diego. A native. Alright! She is just 19. Remember that. There will be issues about it, because, you know the Real World cast loves to party. Unfortunately, Priscilla is not of drinking age. She is majoring in psychology, so I am sure she can handle it. Hopefully.
Nate Stodghill is 22 and from Missouri. I could not find out much about him.
Frank Sweeney is from New York. He is 22. I hear that he is quite a character, lots of fun, but there may be drama. We love it.
Zach Nichols is a 23 year old from Michigan. He is a sports science major and incredibly athletic, so I hear. Sounds interesting.
Since I count seven cast members, I am betting that none were kicked out of the house this season. Just a guess. The setting is beautiful California and hopefully, the lovely atmosphere helped the cast mates get along better than other seasons. Gorgeous scenery always brings out the best in all. Usually. This cast seems really together, in my opinion. From a first glance. But, that can't be right, because, we all know the former Real World casts history. Some of it isn't pretty. But, this show is always exciting and I am looking forward to this season. It premieres September 28, 2011 on MTV at ten p.m. and I will be watching.
