Realization for the Ages: Money Doesn't Make Happiness

Bee
The more I work a less paying job. The more I realize that I can still manage to pay bills and have money to live off of. The more I realize that I have freedom to myself. I realize that money DOESN'T make the world go round, that life is an ever filling cup. Instead of viewing it as a black hole, we should feel it overflowing within us.

We're all going through this life doing what we need to do, what we're supposed to do, and that it doesn't change us for better or worse, whether we're working for 5.15 or 20.00 an hour.

We shouldn't care about anything that's been lost in the past, all we should really want, is to know that with each moment that passes we have learned something that will make our lives better.

I never thought that there were people who would help you, just to help you, not because it benefits them in some way. Never did I realize that I could find a significant other that would cherish me for the person that I AM, not the person that they wished I would become. It really goes to show how life can be altered in a positive, or a negative way depending on the circumstances that you place upon yourself, or how you react to the situations that you can't control.

Instead of fearing death, or of doing what you can to regain any youth you've lost whether it be through makeup or surgery; maybe instead of wanting more material objects to make you happy, you should enjoy what you have, enjoy yourself, speak BETTER to yourself. A majority of people do not realize how horrible that we treat ourselves. If the saying is true that, 'you can't make anyone else happy, until you've made yourself happy', then we're all living off of false pretenses. We should do what makes us happy, what keeps us moving forward. Any day that you wake up in bed is a fresh beginning, a new day to a new era.

You've heard that misery loves company. But happiness migrates around the effervescent energy of those who contribute happiness, instead of taking it away. Humans, social creatures, are part of an ever changing world that will veer toward the type of energy that you project upon yourself. Optimistic, Pessimistic, it all begins on how you see the world around you.

Perhaps we should all stop, re-frame, and realize how our life is going. What we can do to make it emotionally fulfilling, instead of looking for physical objects to cover the void in life. It could be that the void comes from the fact that a person doesn't believe in themselves, or think of themselves in a positive fashion. We're all bigger than we see ourselves sometimes. A little kick in your step can make the day a more vivid and sensual one.

A wise saying, and a convenient truth:
