Reason for Living

W. J. McCormack
Dangeroulsy I'm Spiralling without You

Terribly sinking down to where I can't escape

Suddenly I reach up for Your hand

Tragically it is not there, I keep falling

Ironically it is my fault, Mine alone

I could not see I was driving us apart

Now I drop into darkness

Looking for a light

My tears soak me in pain

My heart sinks into the night

What is a man without love?

Why does he exist?

When will I exit the blinding abyss?

Will I ever? No one is sure.

Nobody answers. I have destroyed once again.... the reason for living.

This is a sad poem which I can relate to very well because I believe we all go thru situations like this
