Reasons for Eating Whole Foods

Eating Whole Foods and Organic Foods for a Healthier You!

Reasons for eating whole foods are vast and far reaching. In my own health experience, I found that everyone that makes a decision to live a life that involves a whole foods diet, does so with sincere thought about the positive effects it will have on their life, and a positive effect is exactly what will occur. Just a few of the benefits of a whole foods diet follow.

Improved General Health

A whole foods diet is one that naturally and unequivocally will improve one's general health. One of the best things I did for myself was to make a change in this direction after an ailing childhood. Not only did my general health improve, my specific issues regarding asthma, menstrual irregularities, and a compromised immune system all became things of the past as the whole food I began to eat healed me from the inside out.

Improved Fertility

I cannot begin to tell you the number of women I've known throughout my career as a nutritional advocate who have been able to switch gears from a health history of infertility, to a healthy vibrant menstrual cycle that achieves a pregnancy. I get such a kick out of those stories. All you need is the right fuel for the endocrine system to run efficiently and suddenly you find yourself pregnant! Truly a success story...without fertility drugs.

Improved Immunity

Those with compromised immune systems aren't without the health benefits of whole foods either. If you're someone with allergies to foods, or environmental substances you may find that a whole foods diet will greatly improve these conditions sometimes to a level where you may need less medicine and pharmaceuticals to help you control those problems, I've seen that situation in my own health experience, so I can tell you that it's possible.

Improved Digestion

Those with digestive problems that create misery for them may find that when they implement a whole foods diet, their ability to be comfortable after eating is much better as well. That's because eating what your body was designed for is what's best for your body and the foods you engage in eating are things that your body actually recognizes. Some of the standard American processed foods are truly foreign to our bodies and as such cause lots of digestive disorders.
