Reasons to Love Ballroom Dancing

Having studied all types of dance from a very early age then later having the pleasure of becoming a teacher of dance, I can honestly say ballroom is the best!

It's easy to learn if you have a minimum of rhythm in your soul.

"sounds like a song huh?"

Ballroom is the most romantic style of dance. It allows you to get acquainted with your partner.Be able to talk as you dance or sing along as you do. So man romances have begun with a couple taking to the floor to dance to a heart tugging love song. Not stand ten feet away and yell over loud music

How can that be romantic?

One of the benefits of ballroom is that it's not restrictive for any particular age.

Ballroom also gives you exercise, yet at a pace all can keep up with.

Ballroom is so graceful, no one can take their eyes off an experienced dancer.

Ballroom has been here for ages. New vogue in particular is simply beautiful to watch. The arm movements for the ladies are so feminine.

The "swing waltz" being one of my favorites, has one imagining a graceful butterfly in fight.

Ballroom is for ones who have a little of a romantic soul, as you simply can't help falling in love with the beautiful love songs which usually accompany the dances.

The footwork is so defined. My main enjoyment when I am a spectator is the footwork.

So many styles of dancing I have done yet none is more rewarding than ballroom.

Done properly ballroom dance can have you feeling as if you are gliding on the wind.

For the very young or the very old ballroom is tailored to suit you.
