Personally, I don't think the United States is ready for a woman President just yet. I think the United States already has a hard time getting respect from the rest of the world. In many ways we've earned ourselves a bad reputation because of the many blessings we enjoy - many countries around the world don't see us as being blessings - I think they think of it as being spoiled. With a woman in office, I fear that the respect for our country will go down even more. Society views women as the weaker sex because we are sensitive and caring. Is this the image I want for our country? Not really, particularly during this post 9/11 era of terrorism.
I wonder about own citizens respecting her as President. I am not saying they wouldn't, but lets be honest. Women in technology, and in many other fields, don't get as much respect or as much money as the guys, and often aren't seen as as knowledgeable. Although I do have to say, this seems to be changing, slowly but surely. Wouldn't this be true of a woman in the Presidential office too? I think it could be the case which makes me leery of a woman President during this day and age. I wouldn't want to chance anything less than 100% respect and support with our President. It's too important.
Additionally, and I know so many will disagree with me on this, but this is my opinion, remember. The fact that Hillary is the wife of former President Bill Clinton makes me nervous to see her in office for several reasons. First of all, I truly didn't think some of the things he did were morally correct, namely the Monica Lewinsky issue. Some think it's his business to do what he wants on his own time, which may be true. The thing is, he wasn't doing it on his own time. He was doing it during working hours when he should have been tending to our country, and we were paying for it through our tax dollars. Never mind the message that sends to our children and our teens. This could give them the idea that if their dear President can do it, so can they. Um, I don't think so. We really need positive role models in our government (not to say that some of the other political candidates are much better!) and I don't think bringing the Clinton's back to the White House again is the route to take. For one it makes it seem like what Bill did was ok, and second, how do we know he won't do it again and more frequently this time since Hillary will be the President doing all the work. That's all that will be in the news and the important issues that need to be tended to may not get focused on as much. Plus, when you have a husband and wife team like that, they are sure to run the country together. I didn't like many of Bill Clinton's views when he was President and I don't appreciate the thought that he may help Hillary make decisions if she gets into the White House.
I do that a woman is just a deserving as man to be President, however, I think it has to be the right person and I don't think Hillary Clinton is it. Time will tell.

Here's my take on this one: www.associatedcontent.com/article/434548/the_big_chillary_a_slogan_in_verse.html
I don't support Hillary either, and think she would be both a mediocre general election candidate AND an awful President. However, your reasons are purile, and they are NOT mine.
I would vote for Cynthia McKinney who is running on the Green Party ticket. I had visited her government website when she was still a member of Congress. I liked how she voted and her stance of issues important to me. I was not considering Hillary because when voted yes to the illegal invasion of Iraq. Now that I see how she runs her campaign I would vote for anyone but her. She has the same lack of integrity as Bill. She has had a bit too many questionable issues with non-disclosure, illegal fund raising, stealing of White House gifts and question her conflict of interest due to Bill's connection with Dubai. You are correct that she will not be good for the US image abroad. Iraqi females came to the USA to speak to her with Code Pink ladies. They carried their report home and it was not favorable. That Hillary also voted yes to the Iran Resolution and wants to garnish low wage earners pay makes her unacceptable to me. Nothing to do with gender. If she were a man, still would not vote
great job on this. i am not sure if i would like her to win or not. it's up in the air still lol
