Reason's Perception

A Sestina

Chad Maynard
Undeveloped mind yet to conquer reason
Lack of resources, still yet to come
Regards to whom, such questions are asked
To those basked in ignorance that wisdom passed up
Looking beyond the ornate, close up of life
More neural passages, intentions have now rose

In an instant such issues must have arose
Yet in nature, science depicts reason
Lost without direction, never found in life
Bring forth corruption, hither sin, blindness come
Intuit deceit, profit neither down nor up
Bi-polar discretion how dare it be asked

For those who do not know, proceed to ask
Accumulate meticulously, aligning in rows
Denounce victory, tied to string, inner core up
Strengthen, atone but for what other reason
Quantum thoughts predicting whats to come
Derive from idea, thought, into material life

Quiet descent upon such simple minded life
Chaos, distracting the right questions asked
How grand these lessons, which wisdom comes
Apostle of elements from many pasts arose
Modest and honest stumble upon logical reason
How much more must suffer till appearance shows up

Still, laymen for evolution is growing up
Created in mindless brain, projected upon life
Change, an adaptive chameleon, struck with reason
A wall come to witness but never been asked
One brick at a time attention had rose
A sense among common, squared, the ears had come

Listeners of many descents did come
To develop, to mold, to consume there way up
Individualized to perfection, like each pedal to a rose
All needing each the same, to commune equals life
So, in common the commune had communed and asked
Derived to solution and commonly came to find reason

From within each individual reason, truth had come
In defiance of asking , contrived direction suited up
Witness new life in light, triumphantly the living rose
