GRADES. School grades are an important part of any child's life. We were kids at one time. We understand how they feel about school. We were all there once. However good grades do help you to succeed in life. They help you to get into a good college and help you land a great job in the future.

INTERNET PREDATORS. This is very important for parents to keep an eye on. Technology has allowed predators to enter our homes without our knowledge or consent. Predators through the computer have become a nightmare for all parents. The world wide web has brought the world to our fingertips. It is a scary thought to know, our children can be chatting with sex offenders, and murderers.

There are so many things that kids are doing to get a high. For example; kids are huffing from aerosol cans. Or sniffing permanent markers.

FRIENDS. Peer pressure is often a tough situation to break kids from. It can happen right underneath our noses. The people your kids hang with, could cause a potential safety risk. Now a days kids are always getting into trouble, especially when they are in a group setting. The knowledge of their friends, isn't selecting them for them, but it is keeping a close on their activities with their peers.

As a parent, spying becomes second nature. You have to do what you have to do to protect your children from harm's way. Parenting skills come into play the moment our children are in harms way.
