What does the human resources department of any company look for in potential employees? This is a question that many should have an answer for before attending a job interview. Although we know that businesses are different and each one has its specific needs, there are certain characteristics that are always common in any business as well as indicators or guidelines that every employer goes by to determine which person is the right one for the job.

For example, the similarity in the way that the interviewer explains or interprets the questions regarding the reality of the organization is generally the same across the board, changing only small some details to fit the process to the companies needs.

Another key factor is the ability from interviewee to respond to the questions precisely and clear. It is important to know that if you going to an interview you should avoid answering subjectively, meaning with no facts or specific examples of your qualification, because qualifying for the position will be much more difficult if you fail to be concrete with your answers.

The interviewer protocol is to have the malice to analyze whether the answers show experience and apply to real business scenarios and they showcase your experience in the working force. There for you must always be able to give examples of situations you've been through that show the interviewer that you have experience and you know what you are talking about businesswise.

If the interviewee quickly understood what the job requires, and he/she understands the job description intelligently without excessive explaining, and even with an awareness of how far to go when responding the odds of landing the job are higher. This is another factor that employers consider a big plus as well, plus the ability to consistently explain the previous and current experiences work wise.

Ten reasons that will make it easier for you to get hired:

1. Long-term potential. The employer wants someone who can grow within the company. One recommendation is to ask questions related to the growth plans of the company.

2. Ability to work with others. It is important to collaborate and understand the rules that are unwritten, be respectful. It can help to tell a story such as a moment when you offered to work late to help your team or something along those lines.

3. Ability to make money. Managers want people who can increase profits or lower costs so if you are a cost savings minded employee or a money maker you chances are higher.

4. Impressive resume. It is the vehicle for creating a good or bad impression. Seek advice to create your own, even involve your associates, friends or family to get constructive criticism.

5. Relevant experience. Currently, some managers do not have time to mentor and train as it was more common in the past. Provide relevant references that support your experience.

6. Problem solving skills. In business, the rules change every day, demonstrates if possible your ability to address opportunities and challenges in a way that no one will find in a textbook.

7. Strong online presence. This is very important today because many people communicate this way. You can use social networks to accumulate positive references or again use your references.

8. Multitasking. Businesses are moving at great speed, and more often they reward the managers who manage to make a variety of tasks simultaneously. Do not be afraid to ask for additional projects, but if you ask, finish them.

9. Enthusiasm and initiative. If you are consistent, enthusiastic and also take the initiative to do thing your presence will be felt.

10. Adapting to the culture. Recruiters are under pressure to hire the right candidate for the company, make sure that you express clearly why you would be a good addition.
