Reasons Why Hillary Clinton Will Not Be President

Before I get started here, let me say that I have no ill will towards her and think that if she does become President, it is not the worse thing in the world. All of you Hillary supporters out there that read this article save your emails and postings why you think I am jerk because I could really care less. I just think that there are better qualified individuals out there and no, it is not because she is a women so you can save that also. Here are some reasons that I see as reasons why not to vote for her.

For starters, she was voted as a Senator from New York State and did very little in my opinion to help out the middle class which is the majority of registered voters and used my home state as stepping stone for her run as President. The idea of a covering all Americans in some sort of socialized health care system has not worked in other countries, why does she think that it will work here? She claims that it will be affordable, portable and available to everyone. She hits all the hot buttons by bashing insurance companies and that the government will offer you tax credits to help pay premiums. Sounds good right? Other leaders in history have tried similar ideas and what it leads to is yet another way for the government to control our lives which directly goes against the fundamental principals of democracy. For this also to happen in Hillary land, she would have to cut other programs to pay for this. She has yet to state what those will be to the best of my knowledge. I think that is something that I need to know before I agree to give her the reigns.

Ending the War in Iraq is something that she claims that she wants to do as of the writing of this article but she voted to send the troops there originally. She is a hypocrite when it comes to this issue because depending on which way the wind is blowing that day and how it will effect her political agenda, she may tell you something different. She has refused to take a long standing stance on the issue so I have no idea what she will think next Wednesday. This is way to important of an issue to not know exactly where a candidate stands.

She states that we need to reform our immigration system. Reform huh...do you think. Her version of reform in my opinion will not even come close to addressing the entire problem. She is going to put a band aid on a shotgun wound by stating that immigrants need to work hard, pay taxes and respect the law. What planet is she from? There needs to be swift action to address this. I am not saying shut our borders off; I am saying that there needs to be a black and white directive on educating these individuals for starters so that they have all the tools to give back to our economy. If you want somebody to get a job, you have to be educated. I know that this is far more complicated than this but she is living on Neptune if the reform she has in mind will even put a dent in the issue.

The last issue that I will address is the strengthening of the middle class. Sounds all well and good that she wants to do this and I am all for tax relief for this segment of the population. The point that she makes that if citizens take responsibility for their actions then government will do their part which she calls the "basic bargain." Again, has she seen the political landscape lately? If she thinks that this will fly she is sadly mistaken plus her vision of a fiscally responsible government and a balanced budget is something that every President has claimed that they were going to address but most have fallen short. She also plans on doing this by cutting programs to fund others. Seems simple enough on the face but in the real world, it does not work that way.
