Recall for September 29, 2010

Pfizer Consumer Healthcare is recalling one lot of ThermaCare HeatWraps Menstrual product distributed in the United States and Puerto Rico.

The company found that there could be a potential leak of the product in the wrap. This might cause a burn or injury to your skin.

Pfizer has notified the United States Food and Drug Administration.

The one lot is:

ThermaCare HeatWraps Menstrual; expiration date 8/2012 Lot number E06831

You will find the lot number on both the outer carton and the foil pouch. The lot number may be followed by either an S or an N. For more information on the recall and where to find this information on the package, go to www.thermacare.com or call 1-800-323-3383, Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.est.

Pfizer Consumer HealthCare is removing the HeatWraps from store shelves and asking you to write down the lot number, throw away the HeatWraps without opening the foil pouch and call 1-800-323-3383 for a replacement.
