It's time for a little holiday fun! The story told in Charles Dickens' classic novel "A Christmas Carol" has been recreated numerous times with everyone from Mickey Mouse and the Muppets to George C. Scott taking a turn with the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his journey from selfish old miser to compassionate and caring older gentleman with the help of some ghostly acquaintances. We figured it might be fun to re-imagine the story with your favorite contemporary celebs cast in the iconic roles.
Justin Bieber as Tiny Tim - He's young and was recently put through a harrowing ordeal, just like Tiny Time, so it seems like a perfect fit. Maybe The Biebs could even pen a new pop song called "Baby, God Bless Us, Every One."
Jason Segel as Bob Cratchit - Segel is one of Hollywood's funny and nice guys. The star of "The Muppets" just seems like a perfect casting decision for the man who really is the heart of the story. He's kind, and even has a soft-spot for his tormentor Scrooge.
Lindsay Lohan as The Ghost Of Christmas Past - Lindsay is a reminder that even the most gifted of stars can fall from grace. There was a time when she was at the top of ever director's list of actresses to work with. She had a very bright future, and now it seems like she's always teetering on the edge of another fall. She'd be just right to play the spirit who reminds Scrooge how good things used to be.
Emma Stone as The Ghost of Christmas Present - If LiLo represents the past, then Emma definitely represents the present. She's vivacious, energetic, funny and easily adaptable. She's a sexy redhead with a smokey voice, very much the one who took the mantle for Ms. Lohan.
Betty White as The Ghost of Christmas Future - Honestly, there's not much more to this casting decision other than we love Betty, and think it'd be a real hoot to see her play the most dark and foreboding of the three spirits that visit Scrooge. White turns 90-years-old next month, and she's still got spunk and spirit, the perfect character traits needed for the ghost who finally gets through to Ebenezer.
Charlie Sheen as Ebenezer Scrooge - If anyone is in need of some real redemption and awakening, it's probably good ol' Charlie. While things have quieted down from his side of the world in the wake of his epic melt down, he showed that he's someone in need of a big hug and maybe a wake up call too. Both Charlie and Ebenezer are set in their ways, but like Scrooge, perhaps a visit from some spirits could show the former "Two and a Half Men" star that there's something worth living for, and he'll give up his Tiger's blood.
