Receiving Help or Advice from Your Mom for Your First Child Questions

When you are expecting your first child, you may worry and starting thinking about a lot of things at one time. You might start to question yourself; "Am I going to be able to do this?" But of course you are. As you are pregnant, there are MANY books to choose from on parenting. What to expect and what to do if something occurs that you weren't expecting. There is also one person whom you could always turn to for great advice. They've been through it and yes, it might have been years ago but they will always remember. This person would be your mother and it can also be your grandmother. They've been through everything mostly in the book perhaps and they could help you when you feel you are unable to figure out what to do or what is going on. The books are a great tool to keep handy but your mom is just a phone call away. If you are worried about bringing the baby home for the first time, why not have your mother say with you.

Not just to help when you need her but also to help around the house and cook. You won't have time like you use to before now that you are a new mommy so take advantage of having your mom stay for a week or so, until you figure out the new living arrangements. Having your mothers advice will be the best tool and you will always feel comfortable asking anything you need to know about parenting a new baby. I still to this day turn to my mother for advice if I'm having problems, and my daughter is going to be three. Your children are never too old to turn the tables on you and make you speechless with one move. Just pick up that phone and your mother may be able to help.
